ABOUT:

Gangsters Incorporated went online on July 12, 2001 and within 7 years attracted over 915.871 visitors. The site is run by David Amoruso. You can reach David Amoruso by e mailing him at fransvanarkel5@hotmail.com. David Amoruso: "I became interested in organized crime and the Mafia after seeing movies such as The Godfather and Goodfellas, and of course it peaked after watching The Sopranos. After seeing these I wanted to find out the true stories behind the mob. I started reading true crime books. After coming online I wanted to see if I could set up a website. I didn't have a subject but figured it had to be something I would be very interested in since I wanted a website with lots of info. I decided to make a website about the Mafia/Organized Crime. I tried my best and this site is the result. I'm not a professional writer. I'm an amateur doing this only as a hobby. If you want to read pro material I suggest you look for articles by Jerry Capeci, Allan May, Thom L. Jones or Pierre de Champlain. This site is honored to have Mr de Champlain as a writer."

David Amoruso lives in The Netherlands.

MY PROJECTS

I am also writing some articles for a new magazine, called Mob Candy. The first issue featured one article by my hand, which I wrote exclusively for Mob Candy. The article is about Tony Spilotro and his Hole in the Wall Gang. The Miami issue features two articles from me. One about the Sicilian heroin traffickers, and another about the Florida Genovese bust. So check it out!

In May 2005 The Encyclopedia Of International Organized Crime was released. I have contributed several profiles from this site to the encyclopedia. Besides my profiles there is much more info in the encyclopedia about organized crime from all over the world. It has articles and profiles about the Sicilian Mafia, the Russian Mafia, British gangsters, the South American drug cartels and the American Mafia. A must read for anyone who enjoys reading about organized crime from all over the world.
